Paula Rodgers

Paula W Rodgers has been a Cookeville fiber artist for over 25 years. Currently she has been focusing on plant derived dyes applied to silk, linen and cotton fabrics as well as her handwoven fabrics. She often uses bound and stitched resist techniques such as Itajime and Arashi Shibori as well as paste resists for design work. For the last three years she has grown Japanese Indigo and other dye plants to use in the Three To One Fibers Studio located on her childhood farm. Her work has been presented in St Louis and in local venues in the Upper Cumberland.
