Patricia Ritter
While I always enjoyed drawing growing up and had taken one night class in sculpture at the PA Academy of Fine Arts, after moving to Cumberland Co. KY on the TN border I began to draw again and taught myself to create in watercolors, pastels and photography. After winning first place for a painting at my first art fair I knew making art was my new passion! My work is influenced by living in this beautiful area with all the forests, creeks, fields, rivers and small towns. I want to share what I see and feel with others thru my art. I am also a Teaching Artist with the KY Arts Council, The TN Arts Commission and Arts for All Kentucky which serves special needs populations. It has been my privilege to teach and share my art with thousands of students of all ages and abilities in schools and communities through grant programs. I am available for commissions and you can see my artwork, murals, public art projects and a list of collections that contain my art as well as examples of the work I do with students and teachers on my website listed on this page.
