Michele Walsh Gorres

Michele, and international artist was born and raised in the Midwest and her subjects in art often represent that. She is a self-taught artist whose main interest is drawing in Pencil or Pen&Ink which carries over to her watercolor and Acrylic paintings also. Capturing mood and setting it free on paper or canvas -letting the story unfold as it is best told- is the basis of her artwork no matter what the subject matter or medium. After taking a 20-year absence to raise 5 kids while her husband was active-duty military, she has returned to the art scene. She successfully placed in art shows locally and has begun to spread out on the national level. Over the past year she has been juried into 10 shows throughout the country, and has been juried into an exhibit in England as well as placing in multiple International online exhibits. Commissions are welcomed and have been steady, completing approximately 20 so far.
