Cate Makes Crochet. Just as it sounds, artist Cate Hunt uses her talents in fiber arts to crochet all kinds of products. She specializes in amigurumi (crochet stuffed dolls) and accessories, though she has also made other household items, blankets, and clothing. Opting for bright colors and fun themes, Cate will always make all of her work with love looped in every stitch. Cate is inspired by nature, animals, fantasy, food, and pop culture. Crocheting since December 2022, it began as way to share her love through gift giving to friends and family but quickly became part of everyday life. Cate Makes Crochet began in February 2024, she has attended two local events held at Dogwood Park and the outpouring of love in the community always inspired her to continue to pursue her creative passion and she will for many years to come.
