The beauty of the natural world speaks to me; it gives me a sense of peace and fulfillment. I’ve always felt I’ve had the heart of an adventurer, who longs to see all the earth has to offer – whether it’s the desert, the mountains, or under the sea. Ever since I was a child looking at maps and reading National Geographic, the world seemed an amazing wonder, a wonder I wanted to experience. I use photography as a tool to record my emotional connection to nature and to other subjects and to preserve the memory of the places I’ve been. Photography is a medium of light and the sun, the moon, and stars are my light source. The beauty and the complexity of nature is my inspiration.
