Barbara Chambers

Barbara Chambers is an Abstract Artist whose skillful use of acrylics, watercolors and mixed media transforms her colorful imagination into pure visual entertainment. Born into the art mecca of New York City, Barbara now calls the rolling hills of rural Tennessee her home and garners much of the inspiration for her sought after work from the character and beauty of her natural surroundings. Having studied Fine Art, Graphic Design and Journalism in college, she went on to earn a degree in photography but eventually found the draw of the blank canvas and mixed media too compelling to ignore. Her willingness to accept this calling has allowed her to embrace her unique perspectives and express them without boundary. Always one to support those in need, Barbara has volunteered her time and artistic talents to PeTA, Big Brothers / Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee, Humane Society and Animal Angels among others to enhance their fundraising efforts. Barbara is so grateful for living a life guided by her passions and faith, thanking God everyday for the legacy that will live on through her artwork. Her hope for others is that they uncover their own passions so they too can live their life with happiness and joy in their heart.
